Assessment & Reporting

Assessment and reporting are an essential part of our planning and implementation process where we strive to use valid, relevant and reliable processes to achieve accurate results. 

A regular cycle of assessment allows teachers to differentiate the curriculum and target content to the student’s point of need.

Reporting of student progress occurs regularly through the use of Student Portfolios. The Student Portfolios (File Books) from Prep to Year 2 are paper based and are sent home at the end of each term.
The Student Portfolios for Years 3 to 6 are digital in the form of a personal Google Site . Student Assessments are regularly posted in the sites and parents are encouraged to post feedback on their child’s site.

 In addition to the Student Portfolios, parents receive a formal written report at the end of each semester.
